We Welcome New Members!
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is a lineage-based service organization for women directly descended from a person involved in Colonial America's efforts towards independence. Since its founding in 1890, DAR has admitted more than 1,000,000 members and continues to grow.
As a non-profit, non-political group, the mission of NSDAR is to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Located outside of the US, we are considered a Units Overseas Chapter. Although chartered in Vancouver, New Caledonia Chapter, NSDAR, has a membership that extends throughout the Province of British Columbia. Though members share a proven lineage and heritage as a descendant of a Patriot of the American Revolution, American citizenship is not a requirement. We can help with the research on your Patriot ancestor/ancestors who participated in the American Revolution and with the preparation of your NSDAR application. Contact us to learn more about becoming a member of an amazing organization showing what women working together can achieve. |
